Good morning to all my Tuesday readers!
This is my second attempt to write this post. Yesterday, I had been working on version one of the post for over an hour when I LOST it!!
My Apple-mouse did something, and after that IT WAS ALL GONE!!
Blogger had not auto-saved it either.
To tell you the TRUTH; it SUCKED!!
Today, we are going to visit my summer-paradise on this earth. You are coming with me to Närpes in Ostrobothnia in Finland. We are on the west coast of Finland, in the Swedish-speaking parts of the country.
This is where I have my paradise.
Peter, Karolina and I will be leaving Stockholm for Finland on July 5.
Are you guys ready for a TRUE picture bomb?
A typical summernight in July. This is the view from the deck.
If it gets a bit cold it is easy to light up a fire in the fireplace. It is very cozy, too.
The view of our summerhouse from the sound. Yes, it is taken on a gray and damp day, but I think the picture is so serene.
This is what I call nice warm afternoon on the dock with a glass of white wine.
A get-together on a summer afternoon.
In July, the nights do not get much darker than this...
I shot this picture in July 2008. The picture is taken with my old super zoom (bridge camera) Lumix DMC-FZ50. To this day, I rank it as one of the best pictures I have ever taken. It is taken July 19 at 22:30
The kids are out in their "gummy boats".
This is the island of Enskärsbådan, close to our house. It is such a nice place to visit.
Guess how much I love this?
This is Stenö, the family farm. This is where my mom, aunt and grandma grew up. My grandma lived her until she turned 86! Now she lives in the "city" and she really likes it there, too.
This is by my aunt's summerhouse. Her house is located 2 kilometers from our house.
This is how it looks
The view from her house.
These pictures are taken at 23:00 on July 8.
And, that concludes today's picture bomb.
We may take another look at the Scandinavian summer soon again.
Have a lovely Tuesday!
