All right, the tickets are booked;
Karolina and I will leave for Sweden on June, 24 and we'll return again on Aug, 16.
Peter will probably show up in the end of July, or in the beginning of August.
Now plans for the summer can be made...
I can line up dates with my friends in Stockholm.
I can start planning what to do when in Stockholm.
I can start occupying my dear sister's time ;-)...Right, Sara?
I can start worrying about the super bad exchange rate that will ruin me, and make me feel poor.
And then we'll have the five (or so) weeks in Finland. As always; I cannot wait!
I'll figure Karolina and I will head over in the beginning of July.
Without Närpes, no summer...It is as simple as that.
Come take a photo tour with me!
These are photos of Lake Mälaren, the third biggest lake in Sweden. When we are in my parents apartment in Bromma we are within walking distance of two beaches. So nice! This is the Kanaan beach.
In downtown Stockholm.
On the picture to your right you can see parts of the Royal castle, the Great Church, and the German Church.
On the left picture you can see Riddarholmskyrkan which is the burial church for the Swedish monarchs.
Lunch break in Old Town...
Norrmälarstrand in downtown stockholm. My favorite walking spot. Actually you can walk everywhere while in Stockholm, it is the perfect city for walking AND for people watching. Parts of downtown Stockholm are like watching a runway fashion show.
People watching! Erik and Ebba, my nephew and my niece, my sister Sara and myself in the amusement park Gröna Lund. Gröna Lund is located on the island of Djurgården in Stockholm.
View of Old Town.
One early summer morning right outside our summer house, and a late summer night pic.
And this is how it looks from the water...
Lots of playing in the water as well.
Blogger is not being my friend today. I have a hard time posting pictures, and it takes longer than usual.
But, at least you've seen some pictures from my summer paradise.
Now I just cannot wait for this years summer vacation.
Gray as can be here! But I am heading out for a power walk no matter what.
OH, and I am up to 10.000 steps on my pedometer!!! Finally! Finally!! I'll see if I can beat that record today and set a new one.
Have a great Tuesday!
